2.          James Madison Chiles was born on Sunday, April 7, 1833, in Virginia, USA. He was the son of John Chiles (1) and Susanna Loyed. James Madison died in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas, USA, on February 17, 1909, at the age of 75. At the age of 34, James Madison married Mahala Jane Peterman on Wednesday, May 22, 1867, when she was 18 years old. They had thirteen children. Mahala Jane Peterman was born in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie, Iowa, USA, on Sunday, February 4, 1849. Mahala Jane reached 53 years of age and died in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas, USA, in March 1902. She was the daughter of William Peterman and Margaret Ann Coddington.

6.          John Layton Chiles was born on Sunday, December 6, 1840, in Virginia, USA. He was the son of John Chiles (1) and Susanna Loyed. John Layton died on April 26, 1918, at the age of 77. At the age of 25, John Layton married Sarah Ann Cave on Wednesday, January 10, 1866, in Polk, Iowa, USA, when she was 23 years old.[[6]] They had four children. Sarah Ann Cave was born on Wednesday, December 28, 1842. Sarah Ann reached 87 years of age and died on April 24, 1930.

             At the age of 22, George Albert Chiles married Florence Susan Graham on Wednesday, November 22, 1911, in Pottawatomie, Oklahoma, Oklahoma, USA, when she was 23 years old.[[14]] They had four children. Florence Susan Graham was born in Cass, Nebraska, USA, on Thursday, March 1, 1888. Florence Susan reached 39 years of age and died in Lecompton, Douglas, Kansas, USA, on March 21, 1927. She was buried in Rochester Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas, USA. She was the daughter of David Patton Graham and Abigail Estabella Barlow.

Martha Mahalia died in Orange, California, USA, in 1977 at the age of 90. She married Lee Roy Travis. Lee Roy Travis was born in Decatur, Macon, Illinois, USA, on Tuesday, September 8, 1885. Lee Roy reached 83 years of age and died in Downey, Los Angeles, California, USA, on January 2, 1969.
