ABOUT THIS WEBSITE......
I have documented a large portion of my evidence and I believe that the information on this website to be true to the best of my knowledge. This family history has been in development since 1991 and it will continue to change and grow. I take responsibility for any errors. At the moment, my FTM database list 31,522 people.
At least 70% of the names, dates and information in this database has been gleamed from "A Genealogical History of Henry Adams of Braintree, Mass. And His Descendants," compiled and edited by Andrew N. Adams, and published by the author in 1898. The other 30% has come from various sources, i.e:
Genealogies (books)
www.ancestry.com
www.americanancestors.org
www.familysearch.org
LDS Library in Salt Lake City - microfilms
Rules I live by when researching my genealogy:
1. Always check sources that you find in other genealogies.
2. Alway lists your sources.
3. Do not just look at the facts - you must look at the time period in which they lived, the history of the place where they lived, their jobs, etc. These are all the things that will help us know our ancestors.
Feel free to email me with any discrepancies that you come across and we can compare sources. I am very open to new sources and ideas. I will also help with any request or look ups you may need.
Pages include some descendants for: President John Adams, The Pilgrim William White, John Fobes/Forbes of Duxbury, John Chiles, and Lawrence and Cassandra Southwick.
Note: I have two other websites.
https://mchiles.tribalpages.com - this has all my ancestors [predominantly Descendants of Henry Adams of Braintree] who are in my FTM database, as well as my husband's ancestors.
https://johnadamsofcambridge.tribalpages.com - this has all the descendants of John Adams of Cambridge who are in my FTM file.
Best regards,
Myra Adams Chiles
